One of my buddies sent me a track the other day featuring the artist Nick Luebke who did his own rendition of the catchiest song ever; "Call Me Maybe" Well today Nick Luebke released a new original track where he teams up with, TO to create this great beat. I will definitely keep this track on repeat for the days to come.

It seems as if every artist in the underground game has sampled at least one of Daft Punk's tracks in the past, but YONAS knows how to resurrect a track back from the dead, and this version is straight fire. I realized I just posted a Viceroy remix but I feel that this track also needs to be shared with the masses. This time Viceroy takes up Wiz Khalifa's track "This Plane. Viceroy stays true to the original track by keeping the vocals the same but his remix with the instrumentals is just amazing. I like the original track, but I think I am in love with this remix. Once again, leave it to Viceroy for all your summertime feel tracks. Enjoy.

XV, who is one of the most deserving rappers I know, just released a new track called "Now Let's Go In" which features Freddy High. This is exactly what you would expect from an artist like XV. He goes in to every track with everything he has.

Childish Gambino has released the track "Eat Your Vegetables" and I must say that I was not a fan the first time I listened to this track. "Gambler" by QuEST

Lyrical genius.... QuEST who recently released "Gambler" is preparing for his upcoming project Fear Not Failure which I cannot wait for. (You will definitely see more of this project once it is released) But for now we have the track "Gambler" which I feel is intense (in a good way of course). The track has a little dubstep that ties in perfectly, but I would not consider this genre as a dubstep but more of a Hip/Hop Rap background.

Since this is our first post on QuEST, here is a brief bio from the up and coming rapper who hails from Miami:

So I must apologize for missing out on last weeks Timeflies Tuesday for I was on spring break (working manual labor instead of partying in Mexico). And for my lack of a post last week this week you will be seeing two new Timeflies Tuesday videos!

Since we are gaining more followers by the day, to give a quick introduction of the group Timelifes and their Timeflies Tuesdays....the duo made up of musicians Cal and Rez release a track/video every Tuesday night. Rez creates the amazing beats and Cal either freestyles or sings over Rez's beats. I look forward to this day every week and I know you will too once you listen to how talented these guys are. Great Track by Theoretics "Higher"

Since the release of our site we have seen an increasing amount of song submissions, and I cannot believe that I over looked an email by the group Theoretics. The group Theoretics is a Seattle based hip-hop, soul, funk, and electronica group with a unique style that cannot be compared to the typical hip-hop group.

The group fronted by two incredibly talented Emcees (Mark Hoy and Chimaroke Abuachi) draw out so much passion through their lyrics that they are bound to make it big. These guys are packed with energy and have such a flow with their lyrics that makes me wanting more.

The other part of the group consists of a five piece rhythm section that I find to be a key talking point when it comes to Theoretics. They remind me of the band The Roots who always preforms amazing live shows. I can see the same potential looking at Theoretics as I do while looking at the Roots. I am excited to see more and hope they come to tour on the east coast so I can see this group live.

Tha Capital G... learn this name because you are sure to hear more from him in the near future. This up-and-coming rapper (who also goes by the name Giddens)  is destine for great success, and today we give to you his newest track "Girl Who Glows". The visuals that go along with this track are quite impressive and fun. Grab this track and play it at your next party, if you have to wait until the end of the week to party then this also makes a great track to add to your playlist as you walk to class.  

Giddens has such a unique sound when it comes to his music and vocals, that I can see this taking him to the next level. I strongly suggest checking out on his Soundcloud if you want to hear more of his music. Also show him some support and "Like" his Facebook Page.

New OnCue - "New Religion"

So for those of you that know me well, or have been hanging around this site for sometime now, you know that I am a HUGE fan of OnCue. However with the increased traffic to this site I have a feeling that most of you have not heard of this very talented artist named OnCue, so check out our earlier post we did for OnCue's AMAZING track "Rick Kid" produced by Brenton Duvall and CJ Luzi. Anyways...OnCue is a rapper out of NYC who has been killing tracks for a few years now.

There is something about OnCue that just gets me wanting more of his music.OnCue is lyrically impressive and any beat that is paired with his lyrics turn to gold. Keep an eye out for him because he is destine to blow up. So be sure to pick up the free download and keep this track on repeat.

New Cage

"So good to have you back sir, so good to have you back."

That is how the new Cage song opens up and I couldn't agree more. It is about time we got some Chris Palko back in the game which is full of too many fake white rappers. If you don't know who Cage is then go listen to some old Eminem, especially "Role Model" where he addressed people for saying he stole Cages flow. Both of these great rappers were at the same stage of the game in the late 90's, but these lyrics should explain the different routes that they took over the years. "Little kids flip out/ go eat a hand full of acid then torch your moms house/ having a cult is all guts and no glory/ especially when you throw your self off of a cliff for me."

With EI-P dropping new tracks, and collaborating with oddballs like Danny Brown and Mr. Muthafuckin' EXquire, the late great indie rap scene seems to be making a legit comeback, and since this sounds like Cage's older stuff, hopefully it is new and not an old throw away, because we need someone like him around to call out these rappers now.

Trippz AKA Chris Michaud The Up and Coming White Rapper

Chris 'Trippz' Michaud is showing that he is a force that is not to be messed with. The white 21 year old rapper, from Connecticut will surprise you once you see the video and listen to his music. I am sure you will be asking yourself if your seeing things, but this guy is talented...so accept it. You can hear some influences (Waka Flocka, B.o.B, Machine Gun Kelly, OnCue, Eminem) yet he is creating his own style as well. I really enjoy the tracks and hope that he takes off.

Some heavy hitters in the rap game are describing Chris 'Trippz' Michaud as "unexpected... Sticking out like a sore thumb" I can seriously agree with those comments. This is one of my favorite Zeds Dead works. I love it because it has some hard dubstep but it is not overwhelming. It also has some great rap vocals by Omar Linx. This will keep your head bobbing for sure.

I love this remix as well because its smooth sounding and then kicks up with some serious dubstep. The original  track to this remix is also apparently the song in one of the Twilight movies, complements of my girlfriend's knowledge.
